In 2022 Rocca dei Forti Prosecco Doc Rosé Millesimato (vintage) 2021 entered the Best Italian Wines Yearbook with a score of 94 points. Luca Maroni implements three parameters to determine wine quality, which he evaluates according to his senses: consistency, flavor balance and integrity. The third parameter is integrity. Here, he evaluates how much enology respects the taste and aroma of fruit, and how it treats it from the solid to the liquid phase, in a fully clean manner. The richer, more balanced and intact a wine is, the higher its quality index.

In 2022 Rocca dei Forti Cuvée N°1 Millesimato (vintage) entered into the Best Italian Wines Yearbook with a score of 93 points. Luca Maroni implements three parameters to determine wine quality, which he evaluates according to his senses: consistency, flavor balance and integrity. The second evaluation parameter Luca Maroni uses is flavor balance: that is, he evaluates whether the softness of white wines flavor is equal to their acidity, and whether the softness of red wines taste is the same as their acidity plus tannin, i.e., bitterness. A wine must be balanced in flavor to be pleasant.

In 2021 Rocca dei Forti Verdicchio Doc entered into the Best Italian Wines Yearbook with a score of 92 points. The score in cents, consistency, balance and integrity assessment of each wine mentioned in the yearbook are given, along with the harvest year, information and historical notes on the winemaker and tasting date, along with a description of tasting sensations.

The ‘Concours Mondial de Bruxelles’ is carried out in 4 different sessions, in order to provide an even more professional examination of every type of wine.
